to anyones best guess, it is southwest across the ocean. probably nearer, rather than further, unless canthans routinely make month-long voyages in those dingy junks they have ;P

Ok is it just me or does the river that conects what looks like these 2 cities look like it has been explored? Could this possibly mean there are big Rivers on the mainland that you can explore via a boat? Maybe its just me.......

Could be, but I think it's more likely that either you can walk along the riverbank or it is a shallow gorge.

I mean, both Cantha and Tyria's worldmaps fill the entire screen space and I think they are to the same proportions.

And for anyone who remembers it: so long to my prediction map

It's probablly just a big river you can walk in with crocadiles. There were smaller rivers you could walk through in Cantha and that giant lake in Dragon's Gullet.

actually i believe it has been said that cantha is about 3/4ths the size of tyria, and that following continents would be of a similar size to cantha.

Ok i was looking at the Tyria map for like 3o minutes last night and i could only find this one Place were Cantha would fit in with Tyria. Its just a crazy assumption so dont flame me. The Blue shows what i think would be an inlet. The brown shows were the mountains are ending. The black shows the continueing mountain line there. And as i said this before dont flame because its a thought only. But maybe it could be to the west of Tyria .
<edit> many spelling errors lol

That is not correct as Cantha is South of Tryria not North.

A German game magazine just announced the date of the PvE preview event to be 22nd to 24th September, as well as some other interesting details about GW:NF: According to them, the cutscenes are supposed to have lip movement and facial emotions, and there will be explorable areas full of dead body parts, insect-type stuff and eyes on the walls that follow you, aiming to "play with your primal fears". Sounds pretty neat, but has anyone seen any official statements regarding the date and the cutscenes? If it's true, I wonder why it hasn't been stated anywhere else... or has it?
